Biography

Born in 1979 in Baroda, Gujarat, she has completed her B.F.A and M.F.A in painting from Faculty of Fine Arts, M.S. University, Baroda in 2001 & 2003 respectively. She has received the Commonwealth Arts and Crafts Award by the Commonwealth Foundation, London in 2007; National Scholarship by Ministry of Human Resources Development, New Delhi in 2004 and Working Scholarship by Kanoria Art Center, Ahmedabad in 2003. She has also received the Nasreen Mohammedi Scholarship from Fine Arts Faculty, Baroda in 2001. She has participated in many group shows including ‘Emerging India’ at the Henry Moore Gallery, Royal College of Art, London organised by Art Alive Gallery, Delhi in 2007 besides showing in New Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata and Baroda. Her works are in collection of Devi Art Foundation among others. She presently lives and works in Baroda, Gujarat.
