Biography

Born in Punjab in 1944. She completed her National Diploma in Fine Arts from College of Art, New Delhi in 1967. She further studied Printmaking at the Slade School of Art, London under the British Council Scholarship during 1971-72 and also took a study tour to USA under CICA Fellowship in 1990. Since 1967 she has held several solo shows of her prints, drawings and paintings at various cities throughout the country as well as internationally. Recently in 2007 Anupam Sud: A Retrospective was held at New Delhi

She is a recipient of several national and international awards, including Kala Ratna Award at AIFACS in 2001

Honourable Mention Certificate at 2nd International Biennale, Cuba, in 1986 and Presidents Gold Medal at Womens International Art Exhibition, New Delhi in 1975 to mention a few. She lives and works in New Delhi.
