Statement

Whether I am in Norway or Paris or London, I always see colour see colour, it is an intrinsic part of my way of seeing. I come from Rajasthan where colour is celebrated; it is a part and parcel of the everyday life of its inhabitants. I love watching the leaves in autumn. Agni and Jal – the two elements that are so vital in the shastras. If you take the first alphabet of each, it becomes ‘AJ’ – this itself means never ending, eternal and this is the energy that resides in my works.
